Here's an Interesting Article on Yahoo's New Music Service That Uses Un-Copy Protected Music

Are any of you following the whole online music deal with copy protection? If it's of interest, you might want to read the below article (link attached). Seems that Yahoo is trying to launch a service that sells mp3s without copy protection.

It amazes me how the business of music is changing so rapidly.

unprotecting itunes files

i hate buying tunes off itunes and then not being able to play them on anyone's computers. it's my tune and should be able to play it anywhere right? well that's how i feel. to me it's like if i bought a cd and i could only play it on my cd player. if i make up an mp3 cd i want to play those tunes anywhere.

here's an open source program that will unprotect all your itune files.

A Sneak Peek

A couple people asked me questions about the new version of the site. If you're interested, here's a sneak peek of what I'm working on, so far.

Occasionally, it might not function properly because I'm working on it and/or there's a bug!

In Sept., I should have it up and running. At that point, I'll start adding more features such as having a way for members to get more involved. After joining, you will have the ability to post lesson comments, ask questions, and more.

I also plan on building a way for members to become contributors and post lessons, bios, and links.

Keep an eye out. My days consist of only two things, practicing and writing PHP scripts.
