Pat Metheny's comments about Kenny G.

Out of curiosity, I downloaded a song called "I agree with Pat Metheny" by Richard Thompson last night, and was made aware of Pat Metheny's negative reviews of the esteemed saxophonist (even though he began dissin' the G-man in 2000.) What do you all think about this? Is Metheny merely stating the obvious? What is your view of what Kenny G's overdubbing of Louis Armstrong's classic recording?
