first it was drum machines and now it's robot drummers!

nothing much to do with music but still interesting

there's a new ringtone for teens. it emits a sound at an ultra high frequency that only teens can hear. so now they can get text messages and their phone can ring in class and the teachers can't hear it!!!! just thought since it's about sound it might interesting to 'us' musicians.

i remember being in a studio years ago where they were callabrating the machines. the adults could not hear the high pitches but there were kids in the room complaining that it was too loud!!
