Bud Powell

Man, he’s my favorite piano player. I’ve transcribed him and studied him for years. Don’t know if any of it rubbed off, but he’s the man. If you haven’t checked out his tunes like Celia and Parisian Thoroughfare your missing some cool stuff. My favorite thing about Bud is how he plays through simple harmonies.
